Rayzalution Band is the an all-female reggae band out of Canada. Hailing from Toronto/GTA, Ontario. The bass player and founder Chantel “CeeCee” McKnight started the band in 2017 in honour and memory of her father Ray McKnight who was a prominent musician in Toronto. The band’s repertoire consists of originals, and cover arrangements of classic and present-day reggae hits, that are designed to entertain, educate and enlighten everyone.

In spite of reggae being a male dominated genre, in just over two (2) years since the inception of the band, Rayzalution was honoured to be chosen to tour the East Coast USA in November 2019, performing in multiple states with the Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffiths (from Bob Marley I-Threes) and veteran dancehall artist Lady G, as their backing band and opening act.

Rayzalution Band est un groupe de reggae entièrement féminin du Canada. Originaire de Toronto/GTA, Ontario. La bassiste et fondatrice Chantel “CeeCee” McKnight a fondé le groupe en 2017 en l’honneur et à la mémoire de son père Ray McKnight qui était un musicien de premier plan à Toronto. Le répertoire du groupe se compose d’originaux et d’arrangements de reprises de succès reggae classiques et actuels, conçus pour divertir, éduquer et éclairer tout le monde.

Bien que le reggae soit un genre dominé par les hommes, en un peu plus de deux (2) ans depuis la création du groupe, Rayzalution a eu l’honneur d’être choisi pour faire une tournée sur la côte est des États-Unis en novembre 2019, se produisant dans plusieurs États avec la reine du reggae. Marcia Griffiths (de Bob Marley I-Threes) et l’artiste de dancehall vétéran Lady G, en tant que groupe d’accompagnement et première partie.
