Immerse Yourself in Caribbean Dance and Music Workshops!

The Rhythm and Sound of the Caribbean

Rhythm & Dance is an integral part of Caribbean music and lifestyle at Taste of the Caribbean Festival. Every year, we feature a wide variety of workshops, from Caribbean dances to energetic percussions, steel pan to limbo seminars and cultural dancers.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer, an inquirer about the culture or just want to enjoy the rhythm, there’s always something for everyone!

We’ve even got Caribbean Karaoke with daily contests!

Steel pan, cultural dancers, limbo, and drums...lots of drums

At Taste of the Caribbean Festival, the lively beats of Caribbean music and the vibrant moves of Caribbean dance bring the islands to life. Whether you’re dancing, learning, exploring  or just enjoying the music, the festival offers an experience like no other.

● Caribbean Dance: Feel the energy of soca and calypso, or enjoy the smooth, laid-back rhythms of reggae. Watch or participate as dancers bring these styles to life, blending traditional and modern moves from across the Caribbean.

● Caribbean Music: Enjoy the tropical sounds of the steel pan, along with the upbeat rhythms of reggae, soca, zuk, konpa, calypso, reggaeton and Caribbean-latin. Powerful drumming workshops set the tone and keep the festival’s energy high throughout the day with full hands-on seminars of up to 200 participants at a time.

With a mix of music and dance, the festival brings the spirit of the Caribbean to life, creating an unforgettable experience for all.
